“Moonage Daydream” (David Bowie cover) by Scott Crawford

Moonage Daydream (David Bowie cover): 192k MP3

About the song: it’s Bowie, man. For some reason, one day (probably in 2004), I decided to do this to it. It was a staple in my live sets, though the live version is more fleshed out (live guitars, and a synth solo along the same line as Mick Ronson’s guitar solo in the original). It was also once played at the end of a Murder In The Dark set in place of “Tonight”, with the rest of the band not actually knowing that I was going to do it. (The magic of having control of the electronic stuff!) Sorry I’ve only got a 192k MP3 of this one, but my archives are scattered all over the place. If you’re interested in the lyrics to the song, go here. The original’s also great. Check it out, it’s on the “Ziggy Stardust” album if by some chance you’ve never heard it.
