The Braggin' Post!

During the time that I've been collecting video games, I've noticed a common bond that seems to unite all gamers, player and collector alike: we all love to show off our stuff. Whether it's a rare piece of video gamedom that we went through incredible hardship to obtain, or it just looks cool, we all have a few things in our respective collections that we like showing off or sharing with people. So, in the interest of supporting that need, and also in the interest of seeing some really cool stuff, we're setting up The Braggin' Post at Electronicon.

Here's how it works: we're going to have a few tables set up all weekend, for people to display and show off their wares at in the main con room. People will be given a block of time (between 30 mins. to an hour, depending on time and demand) to display their rarities, cool games, trade stuff (yup, you can use the tables as a way to show off your trade stuff-no cash sales at these tables, please), etc. at these tables.

Since you will be essentially setting things up in front of an audience, we do encourage a little showmanship here. Think of it as Show And Tell. Tell the stories of how you and your treasures were united! Wear a stupid-looking hat while you show off your games! Ham it up! We'll probably have monitors set up at the bragging posts too, so if you want to demo games, or get a few friendly rounds in during your presentation, that's also encouraged.
