Limited Amount Of Free Tables Available For Electronicon!

Since we're not sure that all of you were aware that we're doing this, we've decided to bring it to your attention in the news. We are now offering a VERY limited amount of tables (10, to be exact) to congoers who sign up for the full weekend pass who would like to set up displays of their rare games, or games they have for trade (As a courtesy to the people who are paying for their tables, please, no cash transactions at these tables). These tables are available now, on a "first come, first served" basis, and can be reserved by either including your request with your payment for advance weekend registration (probably a safer bet), or emailing us after you've recieved confirmation from Electronicon that your registration was processed.

The tables come in two sizes: 72"X18" and 72"X30". There is no extra charge for the extra table space, but we do ask that you use only what you need, to conserve space in Electronicon's main room. Also, both the dealer tables and the display tables can be shared or split. There is a 1 table per person (or group, if you're sharing) limit for both dealers and trader/displayers alike.

If you do miss out on the tables, but still have things you'd like to share with Electronicon's guests, fear not! We've got a contingency plan or three for you. We will have 2 Braggin' Post tables open all weekend for presentations, so that people can show off their rarities, tell the stories of how they got them, and offer them for trade if they like. Presentation time slots are roughly 30 minutes to an hour long; if someone's presentation is popular, and time/space allows, encores can be arranged on the day(s) of the event. Presentation slots, like the free display tables, must also be reserved, but unlike the display tables, presentations can be reserved by people with one-day registrations.

The other thing we are offering to everyone at Electronicon who has stuff to share is a free listing on our bulletin board. We'll have a HUGE corkboard that congoers can fill with lists of stuff they have for trade or sale, stuff they want to show off, carpool notices for flea market runs and trips to Videotopia, basically...well...anything!

Finally, if you miss out on the free display tables, and a dealer leaves before Electronicon's over (or gets there on Saturday, for example), the table is opened up to the next person in line for display space, until the end of the event or until the dealer arrives to use it. We will keep accurate track of the order of requests for the free display space, so that the people who responded early, but missed out, recieve a second chance at the space if it opens up.
